Monday - Read Mark 14:12-16. How quickly and readily do you obey when Jesus calls? Pray about that.

Tuesday - Read Mark 14:17-21. “Now, Judas, don’t you come too close . . . I fear that I might see the traitor’s look upon your face might look too much like me” (from a song by Michael Card). Does this ever describe you? Pray about that.

Wednesday - Read John 13:21-30. We know that Judas helped himself to the group’s money, for his own welfare. Are there ways in which you try to turn your church family to your own advantage? Pray about that.

Thursday - Read John 13:1-11. Jesus knew that Peter would soon deny knowing him, and that Judas would shortly betray him to death. Yet Jesus made himself their servant anyway. Are you able to do that for those who act as your enemies? Pray about that.

Friday - Read Mark 14:22-25. Do you take seriously our time at the Lord’s table each Sunday morning? Pray about that.

Saturday - Pray that tomorrow’s worship gathering will move you in whatever way you need to be moved to be more devoted to God.

Sunday - Pray today for a heart that continually submits to God’s loving rule.
