What To Expect

Back

All you need to know for your first visit to CCC

Casual Atmosphere
When you visit Cary Christian Church (CCC), you will see a range of attire; everything from shorts to suits.  Wear whatever you are comfortable in.  We're more concerned with you personally than with what you wear.

Communion

We take communion, corporately, every Sunday.  Any member or visitor who confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is welcome to partake.  We take communion in worship because Jesus commanded us to do so.  Communion helps us draw close to Him, to meet Him, and receive Him in our hearts.  Communion is served to participants in their seats.  Men will pass trays with bread and juice, which you may take and hold. When all have been served, we will be lead to partake together.

Friendly People

We strive to create a friendly, comfortable environment. We won't ask you to wear a visitor badge, stand up and introduce yourself, or stand out in any way. We want you to check us out without being singled out.

Family Environment

We have programs for kids including a clean and safe nursery for birth through 2 years.  We also understand that you might want to keep your baby with you for the first few visits and that’s alright.

Relevant To Your Life

Our service begins with contemporary blended music from a live worship band (sometimes with a horn section), followed by a biblical message from our Minister, Sam Loveall.  Sometimes there are music specials, drama, videos or other presentations.  There's a weekly bulletin handout that gives information on our activities within the church, a sermon guide on the back to take notes, a weekly prayer challenge, and a place to request prayer.  We want to send you home encouraged and equipped each week!

A Place For Your Kids

Your children (K-5th grade) will take part in a fun-filled age-appropriate worship service designed just for them.  Afterwards, they will break back into classroom groups for more study and fun.  On Family Sundays, normally the first Sunday of each month, kids ages K and up worship with their families upstairs in the sanctuary.
